Declaring War On Gas Prices
A note from the Blog Sgt: We are all in this together, I mean fighting to survive the obnoxious gas prices! So to help out I have added to our newsletter some tools to find the cheapest gas in your area, some tipps on saving gas money, and information on how to take Legislative Action. Do not think that you can sit back and ride this one out, get involved by writing or emailing your Senators and Congressman. Put the pressure on and keep it on. The price of crude has all but doubled in a year, what if anything has our President and Secretary of State done to put pressure on Opec to bring that price back to reasonable? What has been done to bring our Oil Companies to their responsibility to build new refineries to keep aligned with gas demand and environmental constraints? There are many facets to this situation, dig in to it and learn, then get involved. WE MUST GET THIS UNDER CONTROL!

Opec is not the problem with our gas prices. They rank 3rd or 4th in supplying crude oil to the USA behind Canada, Mexico, and I believe the Soviets.
The problem lays with the American people electing career politicans that only look out for themselfs. Case in point Dan Burton, who called Roger Clemens a hero in senate hearings. Why was he not working on issues that would have unequivocal differences on our every day life.
The special intrests rule these people, ie, the Sierra Club, World Wildlife Fund, who would rather save a toad than drill for water, oil, or cut down a tree to help every single person.
I am sick and tired of all these elected officals who only want to spend money to get votes on welfare, foodstamps, giving medical aid to illegals which end up bankrupting the greatest care system in the world.
It is a game in who can give you the most wins. Well with this system my children and grandchildren will not ever enjoy the greatest country in the world.
The only question I have is why did you and I enlist in the Marines?
I did because I wanted to serve my country in the most glorious manner I could. To protect our precious way of life in the greatest country ever.
Where have the true leaders gone?
The men who have no grandeur of power but helps everyone to achive the apex of their ability and capabilities.
