"Provide Leadership - Encourage Teamwork - Focus on Mission"

To grow our Marine Corps League in Indiana, we must "Provide Leadership" in our Detachments, "Encourage Teamwork" in our Detachments, and most of all "Focus on Mission" in all our Detachments.
Mission: Members of the Marine Corps League join together in camaraderie and fellowship for the purpose of preserving the traditions and promoting the interests of the United States Marine Corps, banding together those who are now serving in the United States Marine Corps and those who have been honorably discharged from that service that they may effectively promote the ideals of American freedom and democracy, voluntarily aiding and rendering assistance to all Marines, FMF Corpsmen and former Marines and FMF Corpsmen and to their widows and orphans; and to perpetuate the history of the United States Marine Corps and by fitting acts to observe the anniversaries of historical occasions of particular interest to Marines.

Sorry, not sure what happened to the C-Span TV schedule. I tuned in and did not find the show, nor did I find it in the guide. Anyone here of an updated schedule on this show let me know.

From the Women's Memorial, but a show about more than military women:

Tune in at 8:30 a.m. EST on Monday, July 21, to see a C-Span TV broadcast from the Women In Military Service For America Memorial as part of C-Span's Washington Journal program.

The July 21 program will showcase The American Soldier: A Photographic Tribute to Soldiers and Marines from the Civil War to the War in Iraq, a special guest exhibit at the Women's Memorial. Discussion during the one-hour show will focus on the exhibit's theme of soldiering through nine American wars. To learn more about The American Soldier exhibit, visit a recent e-Register feature story on the Memorial's Web site.
