"Provide Leadership - Encourage Teamwork - Focus on Mission"

To grow our Marine Corps League in Indiana, we must "Provide Leadership" in our Detachments, "Encourage Teamwork" in our Detachments, and most of all "Focus on Mission" in all our Detachments.
Mission: Members of the Marine Corps League join together in camaraderie and fellowship for the purpose of preserving the traditions and promoting the interests of the United States Marine Corps, banding together those who are now serving in the United States Marine Corps and those who have been honorably discharged from that service that they may effectively promote the ideals of American freedom and democracy, voluntarily aiding and rendering assistance to all Marines, FMF Corpsmen and former Marines and FMF Corpsmen and to their widows and orphans; and to perpetuate the history of the United States Marine Corps and by fitting acts to observe the anniversaries of historical occasions of particular interest to Marines.

Care Package Party at Marine Barracks Indianapolis

On Saturday, November 14, 2009 over 80 people gathered at the Marine Barracks in Indianapolis for a Care Package Party. Many boxes of goodies from home were sent to our forward deployed Marine Reservists. The Central Indiana Young Marines were a big part of the Care Package Party. The Marine Corps Coordinating Council, Marine Foundation of Central Indiana, Marine Corps League Hiram I. Bearss Det., and the Marine I&I Staff worked together to put on the event. There was plenty of chili, corn bread, baked goods and a lot of fun to go around. Enjoy the packages Marines!! Hope to see you home soon>>>Oorah!!!
